Jerry Call Six years ago when I underwent a complicated surgery for cancer I promised myself that if I lived through it I would do something to pay back society for my good fortune (in addition to the $50,000 I had to find a way to pay, because I had no insurance). When I heard this year from Dennis Kucinich about the concept of a very equitable and affordable Enhanced Medicare For All system, I knew that I had found the way to fulfill that promise.
Sue Hufnagel While I am fortunate to have health care coverage through my employment, I have two young adult children and many young adult friends who are uninsured due to the expense of private health care. I worry about the fact that they do not have insurance. I also feel strongly that America needs to take care of its own. Enhanced Medicare for All is a socially responsible solution to health care that is affordable to everyone.
