Volunteers Needed For a Major Initiative
Midcoast Health Care Reform needs your help to get signatures for our Single Payer Health Care Citizens' Initiative.
We need volunteers throughout Maine to set up a table at their voting site during the June 10th Primary to collect signatures for a State Of Maine "Citizens' Initiative". All materials will be provided to you.
The initiative requires the State Of Maine to express
its strong support for the U.S. National Health Insurance Act, H.R. 676, a national universal single payer not-for-profit health care plan ("new and improved medicare, for everyone - for life"). And respectfully calls upon the Congress and President Of The United States to enact H.R. 676 during the current session of congress.
